Bootcamp

Bootcamp fitness is an energetic and dynamic way to get stuck into functional training, which is fun but challenging. With a mix-up of techniques and programme styles such as circuits, intervals, and relays; using just body weight or weights and equipment. Bootcamp always gives you something a little bit different and enjoyable.

Functional Fitness

A full body workout aimed at tightening and toning problem areas. Using kettlebells, hand weights and cardiovascular exercises to burn calories shred fat fast. Programmes vary week to week. Suitable for all abilities

Pilates

Pilates is low-impact on the joints and uses controlled movements, with primary focus on the core- to build strength. This helps to improve general fitness, control and overall well-being. Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and mobility.

Zumba

ZumZumba is a Fun Friendly Zumba Class that allows Everyone to access exercise in an enjoyable way. We encourage Everyone to engage in Class in a way that is right for them . We encourage all ages and all levels to access our Classes . Jax and Ally look forward to welcoming you

Dance Aerobics

If you are looking for a fun but also challenging workout, this class is for you! Lauren will take you through a variety of fun and aerobic dance styles. All core movement is taught each session and adapted for attendees.

Learn To Lift

Learn to Lift is a weights-based class designed to teach you the fundamentals of weight training with a focus on proper form, safety, and technique. Held in the studio, this class is ideal for beginners and intermediate members looking to build confidence and develop skills in weight training. Each session covers essential exercises, guiding you step-by-step to ensure you’re executing movements effectively and safely. Learn to Lift is the perfect class for those wanting to transition into the gym with greater understanding and confidence in their technique.

Spin

This is cardiovascular training on a stationary exercise bike. You have complete control of your bike and its resistance that you can turn up or down for sprints, hill climbs, and interval training. The instructor will guide you. This class will help increase lower body strength and improve your overall fitness. All fitness abilities are welcome.

Kettle Cardio

Get ready to sweat, burn fat, and build serious strength and stamina with Kettles & Cardio! This high-intensity class combines dynamic kettlebell circuits with powerful cardio exercises, offering the perfect blend of strength training and heart-pumping action. Multiple stations designed to improve your strength and fitness combined. Exercises performed in a circuit style using body weight and a variety of equipment. Circuit training provides many benefits including, muscular endurance, muscle strength and growth. Improves heart health and promotes weight loss. Improves mood and metabolism. Level 3 - More advance and faster pace that Level 2. Aim at those that want to push harder in their workout. Classes are only available for ages 16+

Senior Circuits

Fun, gentle, functional fitness for seniors. In the form of a circuit Designed to help retain muscle mass and gain strength, increase functional fitness and improve overall mobility in senior years.

Shape Up Before Work

Start your day strong with Strong Start, an energising early morning workout designed to kickstart your metabolism and set the tone for the day ahead. This class combines:
Conditioning: Build endurance and stamina with targeted exercises. Weights: Sculpt and strengthen your muscles using resistance training. Bodyweight Moves: Functional exercises to improve mobility and core strength. Cardio/HIIT: Short bursts of high-intensity intervals to boost your heart rate and burn calories.
Whether you're looking to tone up, improve fitness, or just start your day on a high note, Strong Start will leave you feeling accomplished and ready to take on anything. Suitable for all fitness levels!

Low Impact Body Conditioning

With an equal focus on strengthening exercises, aerobic exercise and endurance. This class Involves floor work on exercise mats, with the use of either free weights, resistance bands, Pilates balls or steps. With a highly skilled coach, class dynamics will adapt to the attendees. From high-impact, high-energy workout sessions that aim to challenge to a stable more focused energy on movement and strengthening techniques.

Enabling Self-management and Coping with Arthritic Pain using Exercise

ESCAPE-pain is a group rehabilitation programme for people with chronic joint pain that integrates educational self-management and coping strategies with an exercise regime individualised for each participant. It helps people understand their condition, teaches them simple things they can help themselves with, and takes them through a progressive exercise programme so they learn how to cope with pain better.

We are proud to be providing ESCAPE-pain courses at Imperial sports ground. If you have knee or hip pain, you could benefit from joining the classes. Once the course is complete you could also benefit from attending our maintaining mobility classes. These classes are run by our qualified gym instructors, which continues to offer support in gentle exercise to relieve pain.

What to expect from the course:

  • Learn ways to manage knee and hip pain
  • Meet others who also have osteoarthritis
  • Learn gentle exercises and movements to relieve joint pain
